New Business checklist from me – part of the Smart Insights Agency Toolkit

A new checklist / template from me, all about approaches to marketing your agency, is live on the Smart Insights digital marketing toolkit.

‘Marketing an agency for new business’ is a Word template for reviewing your marketing approach as an agency (yes, cobbler’s shoes and all that.. agencies should take time to create a structured approach to their own marketing). It also has some nice examples, provided by Dave Chaffey, of initiatives from eight small to mid-size agencies.

The other guides and templates within the toolkit fall into three topic areas:

– Growing the agency and understanding the clients’ business and needs

– Creating digital experiences

– Marketing campaign and project management

I’ve authored some of the resources, with the others created by knowledgeable folk including Jill Quick, Gavin Llewellyn, Danyl Bosomworth and of course Dave Chaffey.

If you’re an established agency looking to optimise your thinking and approaches, or maybe a small / start up agency aiming to kick-start growth; I recommend the toolkit.  I love being part of the agency world and working with the industrious, talented folk therein – and any help I can directly or tangentially provide to keep them rocking fires me up.
