So here is my synopsis of On The Edge Digital – which was essentially a round-up of digital marketing best practices in 2013 from the experts. I attended the The UK Marketing Network’s ‘On The Edge Manchester’ last week and really enjoyed the whole day. What was great was that there wasn’t a sales pitch by stealth in sight – all the speakers had best practice / new developments to share and some of it to a high level of detail – money well spent (by me) to attend. It was all about digital marketing best practices. I knew it was going to be good with Dave Chaffey and Kristal Ireland speaking but I hadn’t heard any of the other guys before – they were all as good. And the mix of SEO, Content, Adwords, email, Mobile insight etc was a great smorgasbord of digital marketing.
I won’t do a speaker by speaker synopsis – I just noticed the event has been written up on the official On The Edge Live site and links to all the speaker presentations are there.

If you get the chance to attend one of these (I think Bristol and Birmingham will be later in the year) then you should – well worth the time and fee investment.
